Inauguration ceremony of a new separate Cephalosporin plant performed by Dr. Hatsuo Aoki, President and Chief Executive Officer, Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., Japan (Now Astellas).

Company signed agreement with Fujisawa Deutschland GmbH, Germany, now Temmler Werke GmbH, Germany to market diclofenac with special drug delivery system called DIVIDO pellets.
